Don't delay, let's dive right in! You only require a mobile number and an email address to register. Follow the instructions below to complete your registration process.


  1. Click on the ‘SIGN UP’ button on the top left corner of the app.



  1. You will be asked to enter your phone number, first name, last name and email address. We strongly recommend you to register with your primary mobile number and enter it without the country code as this is the unique identifier used to tie in to your ZebPay account. You will also be asked to set a secure 4-digit pin. This is a unique security code known only to you and neither ZebPay nor its affiliates will ever ask you to share it. It is important that you do not share this pin with anyone. Once you have entered the details, read carefully and accept ZebPay’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and click on SIGN UP.’

    

  1. Once you click SIGN UP, a verification code will be sent to the mobile number and email address you have provided. Enter these codes in the space provided for them respectively and click ‘Continue.’



Once your mobile number and email address are verified, you will be asked to login using a one time password sent to your mobile number and once you enter the OTP, please enter your 4-digit pin to login.


After successfully logging into your account, your first step will be to complete the KYC process.


Completing your KYC

Our KYC, powered by DigiLocker, simplifies the KYC procedure, making it quick and efficient. This streamlined onboarding process is designed to save you time and incorporates rigorous compliance measures to guarantee your optimal experience on ZebPay.


Let's see how they both work.


ZeroDoc KYC through DigiLocker


To initiate your KYC process, simply go to the "My Account" section within your ZebPay App and click on the "Verify Identity (KYC)" tab.


  1. Begin your Zero Doc KYC process through Digilocker by clicking on “ Initiate”.



  1. Enter your Valid PAN details to proceed further. Digilocker will fetch your documents based on your PAN details.


  1. Confirm the dialogue box and proceed to fetch the documents from DigiLocker.



  1. You will be redirected to the Hyperverge screen which will enable you to proceed with registration. Enter your Aadhar number in the provision mentioned and click on Next.



  1. Provide consent for Hyperverge to access your DigiLocker by clicking on the Allow.


This will trigger an OTP to the mobile number linked to your Aadhar Card. Enter the OTP in the given screen to give your consent in sharing the Aadhar and PAN details with ZebPay.


If you do not have a DigiLocker login, you will be redirected to the DigiLocker creation and the Aadhar details will be automatically updated along with the creation.



  1. Proceed to the selfie capture stage and capture a well-lit selfie. Images of photographers will be rejected. Please ensure that the selfie is taken live and the face is clearly visible within the frame.




Once the selfie is captured, our verification system validates all the details and pushes the user to the Declaration section. In case of any errors, the app will display it to the user with the guidelines to be followed.


  1. Head to the declaration section after the Selfie capture is completed and provide valid information in all the provisions. Click on submit and verify KYC after all the details are filled.



  1. Once you submit and verify your KYC, a confirmation screen will be displayed if your KYC is processed. 



In case your KYC has not been processed, the reasons for the same will be displayed on the screen. You can head back to a specific section and re-verify.



AutoKYC with Documents

If you do not have a Digilocker account or are not comfortable with the Zero doc KYC process, you can complete your KYC using this option, which allows you to manually capture your documents and have them verified.

  1. Tap on the ‘Continue with Identity Verification’ button below the Auto KYC to proceed with Auto KYC. 


  1. Take a picture of the front image of your PAN by clicking 'Capture Photo.' After taking the photo, it will be displayed for your validation to ensure clarity. Please tap 'Use this photo' to proceed with the image."

           

  1. The PAN details will be retrieved and presented on the next screen for your validation. If everything is captured accurately, click 'Verify' to proceed; otherwise, click 'No' to recapture the PAN image


  1. Once your PAN details are captured and valdiated, the next step is to upload the Address proof. You can select and upload any of the address proofs mentioned as below:

    1. Aadhaar Card

    2. Passport

    3. Driving License


  1. Post selecting the document from the list, you will be asked to share the consent to use your address document for verification with us.


  1. You need to then take a photo of your Address Proof. You’ll be asked to take a photo of the Front and Rear side of the Address document. Please ensure you click the photo of the Original Document and it should be clear.


  1. Once you upload both sides of the document, your details will be captured and you need to click on the ‘Verify’ button to proceed with KYC.


  1. Post the validation of Address details, you’ll land on the page where you need to capture your selfie. It should be a live selfie. Please don’t upload a photo of any image. 


If the information on all submitted documents matches, the KYC will be verified. You’ll receive a confirmation email and SMS from our end.


In case at any stage, your KYC is rejected, you’ll be able to see the rejection reason on the app/web. You’ll also be notified via email/SMS.
