Instant Deposit via IMPS

1. Tap on “Deposit” on the portfolio screen, and then tap on Instant Deposit. 


 



2. Here you will find the ‘Important notice’ button that you need to acknowledge and accept which says you can use IMPS to transfer funds from your bank account to ZebPay and do not use NEFT/ RTGS/ UPI to deposit funds as payment via these modes is not accepted.
 


3. After accepting the notice, you will be taken to the next page where you will be able to see your registered bank account details and some important information before choosing this option for making deposits. Once you select Instant deposit as an option for making deposits, you won’t be allowed to withdraw cryptos from your wallet; however, inr withdrawals will work as usual. If you agree, please tap on the ‘ Create Virtual Account’ button to proceed further. 



4. You will get an ‘Attention note’ on the next page informing you about the restrictions on crypto withdrawals and change is irreversible. If you wish to continue, tick the check box, and tap on the “Create Equitas Virtual Account’ button. Or else, click on “Decline and Use Manual Deposit”.


5. Once you click on ‘ Create Equitas Virtual Account’, the app will take you to the next page which will show that the account creation is in process. Creation of a virtual account takes 5-10 minutes.




6. Once the virtual account number is created, you’ll be able to see it on the deposit page, below your account details as shown in the mentioned image. You need to add the beneficiary account to your own bank’s app as a beneficiary. This is a one-time process only for registered accounts from which you wish to deposit. You can copy all details of the beneficiary account by clicking on the copy icon given on the right -hand side. 




7. Open and log in to your bank application. Tap Fund Transfer/ send money/ Payment transfer / Money transfer / Bank transfer. Add beneficiary details and complete the fund transfer via IMPS. Please ensure that you add the correct beneficiary details to your account. 

Manual Deposits

1. Tap on “Deposit” on the Portfolio page and then select the Manual Deposit option from the next page.



  1. Enter the amount that you wish to deposit to your ZebPay account and tap on Continue to Pay. Please ensure your deposit meets or exceeds the minimum amount displayed in the deposit screen. 



  1. See our beneficiary bank details on the next screen to which you need to transfer funds from your bank account registered with us.


*Ensure that you make this deposit from your registered bank account only as we don’t accept deposits from unregistered accounts. Any deposit done via an unregistered account will be refunded to the source account within a reasonable period, and after deducting the Rs.500 penalty.


  1. After completing the transfer, you will receive a confirmation from your bank. Choose your payment method from the options provided and enter the Transaction Reference Number (Payment ID/UTR) shown on your receipt or bank statement in the text box.




  1. Upload the image of Transaction Receipt or Bank statement that contains the details of transfer made. The image must contain the remitting account number, amount, transaction date, and reference number in it.


  1. Validate the details entered and proof uploaded. Correct the details and re-upload correct proof if incorrect details are updated. Then click on Confirm Deposit. You get the summary of the deposit in the next screen.




You can create and keep up to 3 Deposit Orders in “Processing” status at the same time. You will not be allowed to create any more orders till any of them is Processed or Rejected.




Cancelling a deposit order


You can view and cancel any pending deposits from the Manual Deposit screen in the app.


Please note that cancelling a deposit does not automatically refund any amount you may have transferred. If you’ve already made the transfer and want to cancel and request a refund, please contact our Customer Care team for assistance.


Steps to Cancel a Deposit Order


Step 1: Go to Portfolio >> Deposit >> Manual Deposit



Step 2: Select the Deposit Order you wish to cancel from the list of pending deposits displayed



Step 3: Select a reason for cancelling the order from the drop down and click on Cancel



Step 4: Read the notification and click on Acknowledge and then “Proceed with Cancellation” to Cancel the Deposit



Step 5: Deposit Order will be cancelled and a confirmation message will be displayed in the app. You will also get Email notification



Deposit Orders with status as Action Required


If our team is unable to process your deposit due to issues such as missing details in the deposit proof, incorrect or invalid documents, or if the uploaded file cannot be opened, the deposit proof will be rejected and you will be asked to re-upload a valid one.


These deposit orders will appear with the status "Action Required" on the app or web platform.

You will also receive an email notification with the reason for the rejection and instructions to upload a valid deposit proof again.


Steps to re-uploading the deposit proof


Step 1: Go to Portfolio >> Deposit >> Manual Deposit



Step 2: Click on the Deposit in which you are asked to re-upload the proof, status of this deposit will be shown as Action Required



Step 3: Validate the details and upload a valid deposit proof that has all required options using the “Re-upload Document” option under the Add Deposit Proof section in the screen



Step 4: Click on “Confirm upload” to submit the new Deposit proof



Once the correct deposit proof has been uploaded, the deposit order status will be changed to Processing. Our team will manually check and process the deposit within the next 48 hours.


Please note that you can re-upload the deposit proof only twice. If the proof is rejected after the second attempt, the deposit order will be cancelled from our end.


IMPORTANT:

  • In Instant Deposits, the Deposits will be credited instantly subject to the receipt of funds as per banking hours.

  • We only accept deposits from your registered bank account. Deposits made via unregistered bank accounts will be refunded to the remitting account number.

  • Do not deposit from a third-party bank account. A fine of Rs. 500 will be imposed for such transfers. 

  • Please deposit into the account number displayed to you on your app only because it's unique to your ZebPay account. Please ensure that you have entered the correct beneficiary account details to avoid loss of funds.

  • Deposits done into incorrect Virtual Accounts will be treated as third-party bank transfer and will be refunded to the source account. A fine of Rs. 500 will be imposed for such transfers. 

  • Crypto Withdrawals will be disabled permanently once you opt-in for Instant Deposits. And this action is irreversible.

  • Deposits from NRE/NRO/NRI and Joint bank accounts are not allowed as per statutory guidelines and may result in loss of funds. 

  • Do not use UPI to transfer funds. 

  • *All our fees are exclusive of GST. GST will be applied at the rate of 18% on the Fees charged.
