How to Deactivate Your ZebPay Account?

Please note: Deactivate your account only if you wish to permanently close your account. If you simply want to take a break from using the app, you can use the logout option instead.


Things to Know Before Deactivating Your Account:


KYC Restrictions

Once your account is deactivated, you won’t be able to create a new account using the same KYC (Know Your Customer) details with another registered mobile number.


Data Retention

Your transaction history and account-related information will continue to remain securely linked to your registered mobile number and KYC details. Please note that account deactivation does not mean permanent deletion of your data. Your information will be retained in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Transfer Your Funds First

Before deactivating your account, please ensure that you transfer all your cryptocurrency holdings to another crypto wallet. Account deactivation will not be possible if your account still has any crypto or fiat balance remaining.


How to Deactivate Your ZebPay Account?


Follow these 3 quick and simple steps:


1. Open the Security Center

Tap on the Menu (☰) and navigate to Security Center. Here, you’ll find the Deactivate Account option.


2. Confirm Your Request

Select the reason for permanently closing your account and enter your security PIN to confirm your request.


3. Check Your Email

Once your request is submitted, you’ll receive an email on your registered email address with an update on your account deactivation status.
